On July 13th, 2019, Caspian Summer is opening Precursor | V.2.
This is an art portraiture event. Caspian Summer will be taking numerous portraits of each attendant. Your presence will be required for at least ten minutes, but you are more than welcome to stay for the entire event. Caspian Summer is the only photographer at this event, due to the fact that this is our art series.
Dress code is: Dress / Dress-Casual. We welcome button-up shirts, dressier V-necks, blouses, dress trousers, skirts, cocktail and summer dresses, business-dress rompers, etc.
There will be walking involved. Wear comfortable shoes. If they do not match your outfit, we won't do full-body shots. We'd rather you be comfortable and a full-body shot isn't necessarily guaranteed anyway.
The Precursor portraits available for viewing on our website are the results of Precursor | V.1. This event is going to push the Precursor series into the next phase.
Each attendant will receive one or two finished portraits from this event. The digital files are yours to keep, free of charge. These come with a personal use license; this license allows you to print your photos elsewhere if you'd like (though we do not guarantee the print quality if we're not handling it). Unlike a standard personal use license, however, the version granted with these images forbids printing these photos on canvases of any size. Editorial or Commercial use licenses may be purchased. Prints may also be purchased through us, but come exclusively in 11x14".
Please note that the return time on the photos from this event may be up to 6 months. We are in the process of studying new methods of photo manipulation, which takes time. It should also be stated that these photos will be heavily manipulated by the time you receive them. We do not alter height/weight/eye shape or size/skin colour/or hair color.
THIS EVENT WILL ONLY RUN IF THERE ARE THREE OR MORE ATTENDANTS SIGNED UP. We realize that it's short notice, so if we fail to meet that number, we'll reschedule for a later date this summer.
